Keller and Lauren first met at the age of six when the Vaughn family was not able to enter the country they were intending to go to share good news. The Vaughns were forced to stay in Uzbekistan for a time to make a plan B, and that is when the Garners and Vaughns were united. They were great family friends and both dads went to seminary at the same time at the same place allowing Lauren and Keller to get closer. As they played together the siblings would joke they liked each other and they would just run off to play by themselves. The two did like each other as kids, but they both moved back overseas. They visited each other twice before the Vaughn family was forced to move back to the states. There was a five year gap when Lauren and Keller had no contact with each other. When Lauren moved to the states for college however the family made a trip to see the Vaughns and sparks flew again as the two had grown up. A while after that they decided to date (Sept. 9th 2017) long distance and Keller has been amazing about driving six hours from TN to VA to make the long distance work. While dating and through the engagement Keller and Lauren saw each other in person 41 days out of the year. They were engaged the summer of 2019 and we hope you attend their wedding in the summer of 2020. All of you have been a part of both of their lives in various times and we thank you for the impact you have had!
