Maid of Honor
Lauren's oldest female cousin, Jenny's been like a sister to the bride for as long as either of them can remember. She's currently studying to become a vet at the University of Missouri, and she also keeps a running list of all the actors whose names and faces she gets confused (i.e. Richard Gere, Tom Cruise, etc.).
Best Man
Keegan first met Jordan at an orientation dinner at Mizzou; they had both happened to sit at the same table. After learning they had a shared interest in sneakers, basketball and Jimmy John's, the two became best friends, much to Jordan's chagrin. Keegan moved into Jordan's apartment in 2018, and Jordan subsequently beat him in many late-night games of 2K. Although Jordan now lives and works in Kentucky, Keegan bothers him often via FaceTime, and their dogs—Poppy and Max—are definitely destined to be besties.
Bridesmaid
Jenny's sister and Lauren's second-oldest female cousin, Sarah is the sharp, witty one of the family. Currently studying to be a nurse at Mizzou, she once tried to eat an expired box of Lucky Charms and Lauren will never let her forget it.
Groomsman
Alex—or, as everyone knows him, Schiff—first met Keegan when the two of them were covering Mizzou basketball for the Kansas City Star and Power Mizzou, respectively. Schiff asked Keegan to pick him up at the airport one day, shared his entire life's history, and from then on they were fast friends. Schiff enjoys telling Keegan the same stories multiple times, trading books, and introducing Keegan and Lauren to good NYC pizza.
Bridesmaid
Lauren's youngest female cousin, Livi is a dancer whose laugh is recognizable from multiple rooms away. She's studying dance and physical therapy at Southeast Missouri State University, but she's truly known for the shriek she makes when dodging trees on a ski run.
Groomsman
Keegan's brother-in-law, Kyle is a DIY extraordinaire and dad to three practically perfect little girls named Joey, Sawyer and Camrynn. Kyle's beaten Keegan in fantasy football MULTIPLE times, but he went easy on him this year—y'know, since he was getting married and all.
Bridesmaid
Originally Lauren's editor at their high school newspaper, Maria went on to become one of Lauren's dearest and deepest college friends: welcoming Lauren to her family's home in Greece, preparing Lauren for the GRE, bonding over their shared sister status, and perhaps most importantly—introducing Lauren to corn dogs. She's a PhD candidate in economics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and the Star Wars movies terrify her.
Groomsman
Lauren's little brother, Landon first accepted Keegan into the family after a massive, family-wide pillow fight convinced him Keegan was a good egg. A talented singer who's studying to become a sound engineer, Landon is almost as big of a nerd as his sister, and he's slowly teaching Keegan how to understand Lauren's Disney movie references.
Bridesmaid
Meeting in their high school youth group, Lauren and Laurel became freshman-year roommates in college and promptly confused everyone on their dorm's floor with their interchangeable names. After slowly, painfully learning how not to live like heathens, their relationship grew into a deep, heartfelt friendship built on a shared love of pasta, Christmas music, and each other.
Groomsman
Keegan's brother-in-law, Ty is an expert in all things fitness, lawn care, and smoking meats. He's also the father of the Cash kids—five crazy, fantastic little ones ranging from 2 to 10 years old. He hasn't managed to beat Keegan in fantasy football just yet—he was holding out until after the wedding—but trust us, he'll get there.
Bridesmaid
Morgan and Lauren met in the second grade, when Lauren was admittedly jealous of Morgan's picture-perfect butterfly project. But they became fast friends when Morgan invited Lauren over to play horses in the basement. Years later, they grew into inseparable besties in high school show choir, and despite not having lived in the same state for almost a decade, they remain as close as ever.
Bridesmaid
Mac met Keegan and Lauren while they both worked at Vox Magazine in Columbia, Missouri, in 2018. Ambitious, creative, and—more importantly—deeply selfless, Mac won the two of them over with many late-night talks about journalism and politics. One night, Lauren turned to Keegan and told him, "I want to be best friends with Mac," and the rest is history. Two years later, the three of them shared an apartment in New York City.
Flower Girl
Kaydence, Lylah, Ellie and Malia are the five Cash girls, daughters of Kelsey and Tyrell Cash. They're made up of aspiring singers, WWE fighters, and all-around good human beings.
Flower Girl
Joey, Sawyer, and Camrynn comprise the Maulsby girls, daughters of Ashley and Kyle. Spunky and brilliant, they make perfect friendship bracelets and delicious cookies, and they give the best hugs in the world.
Ring Bearer
Lane Cash—AKA Doodle, Handsome, and Manny—is the only boy in Keegan's long list of nieces and nephews, and though he's not yet big enough to tackle his uncle on the football field, we know the time is coming soon.
Dog of Honor
Keegan and Lauren adopted Max in the summer of 2019, smack in the middle of quarantine. He was only three months old at the time, and he became the couple's constant companion. A Beagle, Pitbull, Husky and Border Collie mix, Max is perhaps the snuggliest pup ever born.
