Our story began as mutual friends over 7 years ago. Since then, through the years of learning, laughing, and eventually falling in love, we decided to start dating in 2017. From there on, our friendship blossomed into something so pure and rare, that I think it took the two of us by surprise. Looking back, we have so much history between us that has shaped us into a loving and nurturing relationship, with unfailing understanding, endless laughter, and a love to last us a lifetime. We are so thankful for our paths to have crossed many years ago and for our past to have shaped us into the people we are today.

It was on a rainy Friday night, September 7th, 2018 when Justin picked me up from work to take me out to a dinner of burgers and beer. We ate, drank, and laughed the night away in Frederick until it was time for us to head home to Smithsburg. Nothing seemed different about the night as we drove home listening to 80's rock and roll, holding hands as the rain pattered on the windshield. When we got home, the house was completely dark, all except for a large wooden sign above our stone fireplace lit up with the words "Marry Me". In total shock, I looked down to see Justin down on one knee with my dream ring in a small white box. Of course, I said yes! Now, a year from September 7th, 2018, we are inviting you to join us on the most exciting day of our life. We are overjoyed to share this moment with you and can honestly say it cannot come soon enough. See you at the altar!
