Lauren and Justin met for the first time in 6th grade science class when Lauren used to draw smiley faces on Justin’s paper. It wasn’t until their freshman year in high school, when Lauren and Justin got seated next to each other in 3 out of 4 of their classes and he was forced to sit and listen to her yap every single day that they started crushing on one another. One fixed tie and a very long Christmas break later, they started dating in 2016 and have been together ever since. The two managed to get through high school, a medium distance separation in college, an incredibly stressful summer while Lauren stewed over where she was going to grad school, and a move to a different state where they would be living together for the first time. Justin proposed to Lauren in January 2023 during their senior year of college in Charleston SC, after 7 years together, and despite Lauren throwing her hands up and threatening to elope at the court house, the two have finally decided to get married after what will end up being a 3 year engagement!
