The Wedding Website of Lauren Speer and Josiah Mihok
Meet our friends and family who are walking down the aisle with us.

Kelly Wilkerson

Maid of Honor

We have been best friends since we were toddlers. She is my second cousin, and my soul mate best friend. Talented, hilarious, beautiful, and caring, Kelly is a one of a kind friend who will always be my go to.

Kiki Mihok

Bridesmaid

While she may be Josiah's blood sister, she and I share a special bond. Always a good time, passionate, hard-working, silly, and radiant, are a just few words I would use to describe her. Kiki is my sister at heart.

Sarah Speer

Bridesmaid

We may see each other only once a year, but when we get together, we share endless laughs. She is my cousin who lives in Texas. Sarah is sweet, gentle, goofy, committed, and fun. She has a kind spirit unlike anyone I know.

Ella Hilliard

Bridesmaid

Ella and I met through Kiki. She may seem quiet and shy at first, but once you get to know her, she has a dynamic personality. I describe Ella as sweet, thoughtful, smart, funny, and loyal.

Katelyn Pittenger

Bridesmaid

Katelyn and I met through our sorority at UNG. One of my favorite things about Katelyn is she is a GREAT hugger. Any time I have been stressed or upset, one hug from Katelyn helps me feel better. Katelyn is kind-hearted, nurturing, sweet, bubbly, and fun.

Jessica Anderson

Bridesmaid

I met Jessica through Josiah. She was Josiah's long time friend from college. I quickly learned how fun and hilarious she is. Jessica is spunky, fearless, caring, silly, and the life of the party. Everyone who meets her, loves her.

Lydia du Preez

Bridesmaid

I met Lydia and her now husband, Cornel, at Josiah's house soon after he and I started dating. I have always looked up to her loving relationship with Cornel. She is tender-hearted, devoted, personable, warm, and fun to be around.

Tori Prince

Bridesmaid

Tori is a blast. Any time I spend with her is never enough. I met her through Josiah and his brother Danny. She is always up for an adventure, loyal, true to herself, and caring.

Chris Mihok

Best Man

The best role-model that a man could ask for, Chris has been much more than just a father to me and my siblings. He is a close friend, a guardian in hard times, a mentor when called on for advice and accountability. Chris taught all of us the importance of a strong work ethic, and is a big reason why the Mihok clan has such a great sense of humor. In life God grants us all the guidance of certain people in times during our lives when we need their influence. It's rare that He grants us someone who's guidance and love remain a constant as we continue to grow, and I'm so happy to have my dad as my best man!

Andy Mihok

Groomsman

Brother, teammate, workout partner, joker, the list is endless. Andy is an incredibly animated and fun person to be around. It's easy for the eldest brother to play victim, since they undoubtedly have it harder than the rest of us. Yet he'd volunteer to do it all again in a heartbeat. From leading his siblings as the first-born to being the big brother we can always lean on, he's the definition of what a big brother should be. I can't wait to have him stand up for me, now and always.

Josh Mihok

Groomsman

Josh is the second-born of the six Mihok siblings, and he's the life of any gathering. He's hilarious, daring, loyal and always the first person you think of in a crisis when you need help. Everyone in his life can attest to relying on Josh for help in a time of need, and he's never too busy to be there for you. Best of all: he won't ask how the dead body wound up in your trunk, he'll just grab the shovel and start digging.

Danny Mihok

Groomsman

Don't let his wicked good-looks fool you, Danny's more than just a pretty face, ladies. Danny is the fourth-born and smartest of the bunch. He's the guy that knows the Jeopardy answer before Alex is even done with the question. He's observant, detail-oriented, and a class clown. We use to joke growing up that there was no way he was our blood-brother because of how quick-witted he is. But in all seriousness, he's the brother we all need in our lives, not the one we deserve.

Micah Mihok

Groomsman

This groomsman is impervious to pain, ridicule or judgement. Growing up as the youngest brother, he was typically chosen as the guinea pig for whatever dangerous pastime us older brothers had devised to attempt. Without fail, Micah has always proven his dedication to the family. He's focused, yet thoughtful. Loving, yet stern. Driven, yet he knows what matters most. Most nights he'll be the first person to hit the hay, but that's because he's on a mission, and no one will sway him from his course. That's dedication, and I admire him so much for it.

Jarrett Alley

Groomsman

Jarrett or "Jay" as I lovingly call him, is the mountain man. He and I met in college and quickly formed a lifelong friendship through our kindred enjoyment of long road trips and outdoor adventures like mountain biking, kayaking and long mountain hikes. After college, Jay hiked the ENTIRE Appalachian Trail, just to say he did it. I was fortunate enough to be at the foot of the trail to see him off on the journey. He's a dedicated and dear friend, no matter the distance, and I'm stoked to have him see Lauren and I off on our lifelong journey.

Jake Elhabbassi

Groomsman

Jake and I met in college and quickly started doing almost everything together. His can-do attitude is contagious, and you can't spend time with this guy without starting to feel amped about something he's doing. That's how we wound up pledge brothers. The energy he has is just that captivating. He catches a lot of crap, but we all know, deep down, he can handle it because you just can't keep Jake down. Whatever time the wedding his, we'll probably tell him it's two hours earlier, but that's just because we love him and wouldn't miss him being there for the world.

Cornel du Preez

Groomsman

Cornel and I played Rugby together in college, but our friendship really grew once Cornel moved in as a house mate along with Josh and I at Rugby Manor. Josh and I joke abut all the bad roommates we had in college. But it was all worth it, and we'd do it all over again if it meant we got just one Cornel. It's no mistake that I like to surround myself with hardworking and driven individuals who are better than me at most things, and Cornel is no exception to the rule. I'm so happy to have him in our lives, and so grateful to have him as a dear friend.

Travis Jackson

Groomsman

Travis Jackson-Mihok. He's the sixth son my mom and dad never had, and will forever be a member of the family. Another of my Rugby brothers, I recruited Travis for the team after seeing him deadlift 450lbs without breaking a sweat. He's a beast of nature, but also one of the kindest people I've ever known. If you're lucky enough to know him, you know it's a terrible texter. But he makes up for it with his James Bond swagger. It wouldn't be a party without this gentle giant shredding up the dance floor.
