The Mount Vernon Trail starts in DC and runs all the way along the water to the historic Mount Vernon Estate. Hop on the trail in Old Town and take a beautiful walk, run or bike ride along the water! One great place to stop if going towards DC is Gravelly Point (a park along the trail near the airport where you can take off and land near the plane).
While the wedding will take place on the property at the historic Mount Vernon Inn and Restaurant, taking a tour of the mansion is a great way to learn more about the property and its place in American history!
