Lauren made the first move when she commented on how organized Josephs room was (we won’t talk about his mattress being on the floor). Yes, Joseph took the picture of himself in front of his floor length mirror. We weren't able to go on our first date in person for a few weeks, as we were both traveling for work and leisure. We finally found a Friday that we were both in town, however it wasn't the first date night you would have expected after a month of text, phone calls and facetime (via instagram video because Joseph had an Android). Lauren had knee surgery that week and was getting around but slowly. Joseph made plans to meet Lauren AFTER a Christmas party at his (now our) gym. 8 PM turned to 9 PM turned to 930 but finally Joseph did arrive. Coincidentally, we went to a cocktail bar across the street from Lauren called Better Luck Tomorrow (Please visit, these cocktails kill it). As luck would have it, we enjoyed each others company in person as much as we did over the phone. We have grown to become best friends after that night and look forward to growing old together! Update: Joseph is still as organized as I first noticed. He has a bed frame. We now both attend Covenant gym. Joseph now has an iphone and no longer travels for business weekly. But we both share the love of traveling every chance we get. Better Luck Tomorrow will always have a special place in our hearts.
