Please RSVP no later than June 1st. If we don’t receive your RSVP by that date, we may not be able to accommodate you, as we must provide final numbers to our vendors. It’s very important for us to have an accurate guest list by June 1st so we can plan properly for everyone. Thank you so much for understanding and replying on time!
Please let me know! It is challenging to remember everyone and was most likely a mistake!
Our wedding will take place on July 11th, 2026 at 5:30 P.M. Our ceremony and reception will both take place at our venue, The Barn at White Pine Acres in Marietta, Ohio.
Great news! there is plenty of parking! There is gravel, though, so ladies if you plan to wear heels, plan accordingly. Getting to the venue is part of the charm. The drive is a little twisty and definitely a “take your time and enjoy the scenery” kind of road. It’s not the best place for that fancy car you only take out on sunny Sundays. Plan extra time to arrive for the ceremony!
You should arrive 15 to 20 minutes early. Please give yourself plenty of time for travel!
Semi‑Formal and go for bright colors! Think light, colorful, and classy for a warm‑weather celebration. Don’t forget, you’ll be outside for the ceremony in the July heat, so breathable fabrics and comfortable, summer‑friendly outfits are your best friend. I also recommend shoes you can walk in on grass, gravel, and concrete, since you will encounter all three throughout the day. And lastly… if you’re asking for my fashion advice, leave the jeans at home ;)
Yes, children are welcome, but we’ll leave it completely up to your discretion. We want to be transparent that our reception will be a lively, adult‑friendly evening with music, drinks, and plenty of celebrating. We absolutely love your kiddos, but we also understand that some parents may feel more comfortable leaving children at home for this kind of atmosphere. Please feel free to use our special day as a date night away from the kids if that sounds more relaxing for you, but if bringing your children works best for your family, they are welcome.
See our 'Travel' page for hotel blocks. Please feel free to stay where you would like, these hotels are options that have blocked rooms, but there are many other hotels if these do not suit you.
Great news! We hired someone whose only job is taking photos! So you can turn your phone off and enjoy the ceremony without worrying about capturing a thing. We are happy to share the photos with you later!
Come hungry! We will be eating dinner at 7. However, we will be having cocktail hour following our ceremony with drinks and pre-dinner appetizers. If you have dietary restrictions, please let us know!
No need to bring your own drinks! We’ve got you covered! The bar will be fully stocked, so all you need to bring is your dancing shoes. The venue has its own rules about alcohol, and we’re simply doing our part to keep things easy, safe, and fun for everyone.
Totally up to you! We’ll have an open bar with a tip jar for anyone who wants to show the bartenders some love. We also have a honeymoon fund, but we will have QR codes available if you prefer to give digitally, no pressure either way!
This is always a concern for having a July wedding! We do not plan to move the ceremony inside unless it is storming or there is very heavy rain. Might want to bring an umbrella and a change of shoes just in case.
