Trestle Bike Park
Trestle is known for some of the best downhill mountain biking! The lift ticket will take you and your bike up the gondola with access to all levels of bike park and XC mountain biking trails. Our wedding coordinator informed us that guests receive discounts on mountain biking packages if you use our hotel booking link!
Fishing
Winter Park is full of world-class waters to fish, from the Fraser River to the Colorado River and everything in between. There is a fishing spot for everyone, no matter your experience! Here is the link to Winter Park's fishing guide!
E-Bike Tours
Winter Park Resort offers guided and unguided E-Bike options. While we have not done this ourselves, we imagine it will be fun for guests. Please see their website for more details. We would also recommend calling to see if there is a discount for wedding guests.
Scenic Gondola
Guests receive a free gondola ticket as a part of the wedding as that is the preferred transportation to the top of the mountain. However, you are welcome to ride the scenic gondola at other times throughout your visit and go take a hike at the top of the mountain!
Leaf Peeping
As we mentioned, Fall in Winter Park is known for its "leaf peeping" or enjoying the colorful Aspens. Check this link for the Winter Park leaf peeping guide!
Lake Granby or Grand Lake
About a 30 minute drive from Winter Park there are two lakes great for activities - whether you want to rent a pontoon boat, paddle around, or just enjoy the views. We have personally enjoyed several 4th of Julys here with friends and the dogs!
