7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
You don’t want to miss this event! This is one of the classic Austin summer events and they only have four a year! Bring a blanket to sit on and come enjoy live local music and food from all around Austin. Parking will be tricky so we recommend either ubering or parking at my parents Airbnb and walking the 30 minutes it takes to get to Zilker. (2209 Matterhorn Ln, Austin, TX 78704). We also recommend you get there early to get a good spot.
8:15 pm - 9:00 pm
Come watch the 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bats emerge from under the Congress Avenue Bridge at sunset. Best place to watch is from the bridge (Official name: Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge) or below on the grass.
9:00 pm - 11:00 pm
10 minute walk from the bat bridge. This is a chance for everyone to have some fun and get to know each other before the wedding. Anyone who is in town or around is invited!
10:00 am
Some of the best breakfast tacos in Austin. Fun Fact: This Taco Deli location is next to Lauren's first Austin apartment. Parking along Spyglass and Barton Skyway.
11:00 am
Wear swim suit and hiking clothes.
Because of low water level we will not be able to swim at Gus Fruh. So we can just go swimming at Barton Springs. You can either walk there, which is a very nice walk. Or park across from Zilker Park.
8:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Everyone is welcome! Enter through Z'Tejas main restaurant area, make your way to the left where you will cross the overpass into the party room. Free valet parking is available. Cash bar.
4:15 pm - 11:00 pm
Parking The Quarters Garage at 2222 Rio Grande Street, (located at the corner of 22 ½ Street and Rio Grande Street). This is another truly unique Austin experience! It was started in 1988 by Vince Hannemann and has grown over the years through donations from people around both the city and the world. Nowadays, it contains over 60 tons of junk. A number of years ago the city of Austin, Texas, tried to shut it down, saying it was too much junk and a safety concern. (The neighbors thought it was an eyesore.) So Vince and an army of volunteers pared down the structure and brought it up to code so the site could stay open! It is definitely doing its part to "Keep Austin Weird." $5 donation per adult, and please park directly in front of his house. https://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/7816 Directions: On the south side of town. US 81/290 to the Hwy 71 (Ben White Blvd E.) exit. Hwy 71 west to the Congress Ave. exit. Head south a couple of blocks, turn right on St. Elmo Rd W., then take the second left onto Lareina.
4:00 pm - 11:00 pm
We're bringing Austin to Campus and everyone is welcome! There will be live music, good food, and lots of fun and dancing.
1:00 pm
Beachwear
Relax with us at the beach. Bring a picnic and volleyball/frisbee and enjoy! This is a members only club so please get there right at 1pm so we can all go in together.
