Updated 5/21/2026: We are so sad and frustrated to share this, but due to major railroad construction in Italy this summer, many train routes are currently being rerouted north before heading south. Unfortunately, this is turning what should normally be a 4–5 hour journey into travel days closer to 8–9 hours. We know this is incredibly inconvenient, especially for those of you traveling such a long way to celebrate with us, and we truly empathize with the added stress this may cause while planning your trip. We wish there were a better solution, and we are deeply grateful for the extra effort everyone is making to be there with us. Please double-check train routes and travel times before booking, as schedules may continue to change throughout the summer. Thank you again for going the extra mile — literally — to celebrate our wedding in Italy. It means more to us than we can say.
Train
Trenitalia is a great way to travel around Italy. The trains are comfortable, reliable, and easy to navigate. Their website and station maps make planning your journey simple, even if it’s your first time using the Italian rail system. If you’re flying into Florence, Naples, Rome, Bari, or Brindisi, Trenitalia can take you close to the venue. The station you’ll want to arrive at is Cisternino Station (72015 Fasano, BR, Italy). Please be sure not to confuse it with Cisternino Città, which is a different stop. We will have a shuttle running from Cisternino Station to the venue to make your arrival as smooth as possible.
Flight
There are two airport options to consider when planning your travel: Brindisi Airport and Bari Airport. Both are great for flying in and out of the region. Bari Airport✈️ Address: Viale Enzo Ferrari, 70128 Bari BA, Italy Once you land, we recommend taking a taxi (cash only!) from the airport to Bari Centrale, which is about 12 km away. Taxis are typically cheaper and more reliable than ride-share options like Uber. From Bari Centrale, you can catch a train to Cisternino Train Station, with travel times ranging from 40 to 65 minutes and ticket prices between €6.00 and €12.30, depending on the route. Upon arrival in Cisternino, we’ll have a shuttle waiting to take you to Villa Cenci so you can settle in and start soaking up la dolce vita.

Torre Canne is a charming seaside town in Apulia, just a short drive from our venue. Known for its beautiful coastline, golden sandy beaches, and crystal-clear waters, it’s the perfect place to relax and experience authentic Italian coastal life. A highlight is Il Santos Beach Club, a sister restaurant to Villa Cenci. Perched on a cliff with sea views, Il Santos offers a relaxed, eco-friendly atmosphere, delicious Greek and Italian-inspired seafood, and is Southern Italy’s first true dog-friendly beach club—great for guests with pets. Besides the beach, Torre Canne has plenty to offer. You can enjoy guided e-bike tours through the Coastal Dune Park, peaceful yoga sessions in the nearby Valle d’Itria countryside, or boat excursions to explore sea caves around Polignano a Mare. The historic Punta Torre Canne Lighthouse provides stunning views, and the Terme di Torre Canne spa is perfect for relaxing in natural hot springs. For accommodations, consider the four-star Canne Bianche Lifestyle Hotel, offering luxury amenities and a private beach, or Hotel Del Levante, known for comfortable rooms and easy beach access. Torre Canne is a wonderful spot to extend your stay and soak up the beauty and culture of Apulia’s coast.
