For the cocktail hour and reception at Fiddler's Elbow the suggested dress code is black tie. This include a tuxedo or dark suit and tie for the gentlemen and a long dress or gown for the women. At Fiddler's Elbow, jackets for gentlemen are required after 5:00 pm. Jeans, sneakers, cargo pants, sweat suits and T-shirts are not permitted.
You may RSVP directly on this website by following the link on the RSVP header page.
Due to the reserved table seating of the dinner, we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If your invitation says "and guest", please include their name when you RSVP. While we adore your little ones, please note that the reception at Fiddler's Elbow will be an adults only celebration.
Yes. You will choose your meal at table side during the reception. There is a choice of a vegetarian/vegan option. Please let your server know of any food allergies you may have and they will be happy to accommodate.
We have reserved two room blocks. The main one will be at the Hyatt House in Branchburg/Bridgewater with a secondary block reserved at the Courtyard by Marriott. To reserve a room, use the link on the travel page and follow the prompts. If you wish to make your reservation by phone, call the Hyatt at 908-704-2191 and use code is G-LCJR.
Both the Hyatt House and the Courtyard offer a free shuttle bus to and from Fiddler's Elbow before and after the reception for those guests booking through the room block. Unfortunately the hotels do not offer a shuttle to the church ceremony in Chatham. By car, the Hyatt House is about 35 minutes to St. Patrick Church and 10 minutes to Fiddler's Elbow, while The Courtyard is 22 minutes from the church and 12 minutes to the reception. For those booking outside the blocks or staying at any alternative lodging in the area, ride share options such as Uber and Lyft are readily available.
Yes, both St. Patrick's Church and Fiddler's Elbow country club have ample parking.
Although there will be approximately 2 1/2 hours between the end of the ceremony and the beginning of the cocktail hour, Fiddler's Elbow will not be able to accommodate early arrivals before 5:45. This would be a good time to check into or return to the hotel and rest. Although both hotels offer a bar/restaurant, we encourage you to save your appetite. The reception will include a cocktail hour with an abundance of passed hors d'oeuvres as well as a number of food stations, followed by a full 4 course plated dinner and dessert.
