We’re gettin’ hitched!

We met on a dating app in October of 2020 (boring, I know). Lauren was on her way to settings to delete her profile when she matched with Jesse, who had just downloaded the app that morning sparked by boredom from being sick with covid (what a time). Lauren thought “alright, I’ll give this one a chance before deleting the app for good” and the rest was history. An example of what we like to consider fate with, of course, a little help from the internet. Our first date was October 17th 2020. We went on an hike, got some California pizza (yuk) and ended the night with some homemade peach cobbler made by Jesse. We were both able to tell from very early on that it was the start of something special. Our love is truly like no other, we’ve created beautiful partnership throughout the years overflowing with happiness. Today, our life is filled with many adventures along with our three crazy dogs Lenny, Beans & Grace, our snake Gata, our tortoise Ducky & of course our fish, Fred. Jesse taught Lauren how to love and appreciate the great outdoors and Lauren taught Jesse how to play softball. We now share a common love for both along with many other things such as camping, Survivor (Jeff Probst if you somehow see this, we love you) and Major League Baseball. Lauren was even able to convert Jesse into a Yankee fan! A true ying and yang, Jesse’s quiet and soft nature is perfectly balanced with Lauren’s loud and witty personality. In this life that we have created filled with adventure, we are both so excited for this next one as we finally become husband and wife. We couldn’t be more excited to tie the knot just two days after our FIFTH anniversary! We especially cannot wait to celebrate coming into our marriage surrounded by so many loved ones. How special that with loved ones spread across both coasts and a few in between, we get to celebrate with you all! We cannot wait to see you there!
