It all started with two swipe rights and a first date the day before Thanksgiving 2016. Over dinner at the Bijou, we discovered we shared many interests - college football, traveling, great food especially "punkin" pie, but above all else we shared an obsession with dogs and a bond with our families. I was drawn to Lauren's kind heart, angelic smile, and infectious laugh. Lauren was drawn to my caring demeanor and thoughtful personality. Two things became certain that day. We could each see sharing a future together and that Lauren would never eat Sea Bass again.

We held a Halloween costume party at our house. Together, we were Wayne's world. I was Garth and Lauren was Wayne. Our home was filled the joy and laughter of close friends and family. After gathering everyone's attention, I took off my wig, got down on one knee, and asked Lauren to marry me. She, and everyone else, were completely surprised. She quickly said yes. It was excellent! We will be partying on always and forever.
