Wedding Party

An introduction to our family and friends who continue to support, encourage, and inspired us along the way. We are honored to stand beside these amazing women and men on our wedding day. Introductions are written in first person :) Lauren on the bridesmaids and Jeff on the groomsmen

Kelsey Yen

Maid of Honor

My favorite little sister. She is full of snarky malarkey and hilarious movie references. She is patient, compassionate, and helpful. And such fun! Ask her about Broadway musicals, mechanical engineering, and Michigan weather.

Arielle Hanna

Bridesmaid

We worked together at Nothing Bundt Cakes (Ingrid Kuo's Pasadena location). Times together often consist of wine, Disney, and Trader Joe's snacks. She is faithful, determined, and supportive. Ask her about Port Salut and cozy weighted blankets.

Morgan Klein

Bridesmaid

We met in junior high, bonding over a book report on Jane Eyre. My forever companion in everything Jane Austen. She has the most encouraging, gracious, and hospitable heart. Ask her about the Pacific Crest Trail and how to bake an excellent choux.

Ashley Mason

Bridesmaid

We met in high school, the beginning of many late night cups of tea together. She is well-travelled and well-read. She is kind, courageous, and so intelligent. Ask her about neuroscience or about anything really (she'll know).

Vanessa Mok

Bridesmaid

We grew up together, until she left me for college in New York and then Disney in Florida. She inspires me by how she follows her dreams. She is thoughtful, generous, and hardworking. Ask her about snails and The Night Circus.

Jordan Yoshihara

Bridesmaid

We grew up as family friends, with many Christmases of home plays and witty limericks. We tried starting a food-pun-based Etsy shoppe that never took off. She is gentle, creative, and smart. Ask her about C++ and constructing desk fountains out of bundt pans.

Jason Cao

Best Man

Brother from the same mother (and father). We used to go into each others' rooms when we were bored and exasperatedly exclaim: "Entertain me!". Love the quirky way he looks at the world. Ask him about tennis and that one time he caught a fly in a special way.

Chris Botros

Groomsman

We met when he moved into the house and bonded over mangos (gotta get those non-fibrous, fleshy ones). Sharing a desire to be intentional carried over into many a man-date. Love the way he cares for his fellow man. Ask him about growing mangos or for great surf spots.

Keith Jourdian

Groomsman

We met half a lifetime ago at church before I was a Christian. We have played Magic: The Gathering for the entirety of our relationship. Love his compassionate heart and enjoy his surfer-like speech pattern. Ask him to try to explain a complex concept in a simple way.

Kevin Tanaka

Groomsman

We met at a young adult bowling event in DTLA. We started a group-led small group together with a few other people that met for about a year. Love his low-key demeanor and sense of humor. Ask him for food recommendations or about his experience with Habitat for Humanity.

Cary Wong

Groomsman

We met at Trinity Church when he visited one Sunday. I had the honor of baptizing him and am so proud of how he continues to grow in Godly character. Ask him about his photography projects or how he selflessly serves the youth.

Andrew Yen

Groomsman

Lauren's favorite big brother. We met at a family dinner party. We both like minimalism and are pretty thrifty. Love the way he prioritizes family. Ask him to see pictures of Kylo Yen or for board game recommendations.
