While we don't expect driving conditions to be dangerous in/around the Newberg area, anyone traveling from the Hillsboro/Beaverton area should avoid using Google Maps for directions, as its routes tend to recommend back roads at higher elevations, which could be unsafe during December. Instead of taking 219 to Newberg, we strongly recommend taking 99w to Newberg for guests traveling from that side of town.
