Lauren went to hang out in downtown Durham with one of her friends from grad school. They went to dinner, stumbled upon a cypher, and eventually ended up at the bar-club spot called The Pinhook. That's where she first laid eyes on Jasmine. Jasmine frequented that spot and noticed Lauren too. She thought she looked nice- a little too nice and out of place for a dive bar spot like Pinhook. The night went on and Jasmine seemed to be entertaining everyone but Lauren! Eventually, one of Jasmine's friends had to tell her Lauren had been looking her way all night. She finally took notice, stood next to Lauren and then they began to dance. The rest is herstory.
