The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail. For the gentlemen, this is a suit and tie or a sport coat and slacks. For the ladies, a cocktail dress, semi-formal maxi dress, or jumpsuit. With that being said, we are getting married outside so dress comfortably for the weather.
We are having a more intimate gathering, so unfortunately, we are only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation at this time.
The weather in south Georgia can be unpredictable in May, but we expect it to be fairly warm. Typically there are lows in the 60s with highs in the mid 80s. Since this is an evening wedding, we are anticipating that it will cool off a little more throughout the night. Our goal is to have everyone comfortable and having a great time while still enjoying the beautiful southern outdoorsy feel. *Note: Unless there are extreme weather conditions that make it unsafe, we are getting married outside rain or shine. Please come prepared to celebrate with us no matter the weather.
Both the ceremony and reception are taking place at The Brice House. The ceremony will be held outside in front of the house and the reception will take place on the side and back of the house. Please check out the "schedule" tab of our website for the address and time.
There is parking at the venue, located directly to the side of the ceremony location. Please keep in mind that this is a very rural town. Lyfts and Ubers may not be available. If you plan to drink, please prearrange a ride back to your hotel following the end of the reception. We have access to the venue until 11 am on Sunday if you need to leave your car overnight. Please do not hesitate to ask for a ride if you are unable to drive.
