What date should I RSVP by?

How can I RSVP?

Answer

We encourage you to RSVP through the "RSVP" section of our wedding website in order to prevent any delays with USPS (there have been a few instances already). Another option is to take a picture of your RSVP card responses and text directly to the bride or e-mail to LJGerlach2025@gmail.com. Regardless of the method, your response is appreciated!

Is this an adult-only wedding?

Answer

Largely, yes! Due to space restrictions at the venue, we can only accommodate the children of immediate family and those participating in the ceremony (with a few exceptions). If you have any questions, please reach out to us at LJGerlach2025@gmail.com or to the bride directly.

Have you reserved hotel blocks?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at the Fairfield Inn & Suites (4976 E Dublin Granville Rd, Westerville, OH 43081). Guests choosing to stay at this location will have exclusive access to a shuttle that will run before and after the ceremony and reception.

Is there onsite parking available at your wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! There is a dedicated parking lot with complimentary attendants. Guests are welcome to leave cars parked in the lot overnight, but please be sure to have any valuables stored away.

Will there be transportation provided to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

Attendees that reserve a room with Fairfield Inn & Suites will have access to a shuttle that will run before and after the ceremony and reception. Please keep in mind that this option is only available to guests of the hotel. Rideshare options like Uber and Lift are also available. If you are driving your own vehicle to and from Jorgensen Farms, please drive responsibly. We love you all dearly, and your safety is of upmost importance to us!

What time should I arrive for your ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00PM. Arrival is encouraged to start at 3:30PM.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

While we love that you want to help capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and without distraction. Our professional photographers will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards via the Gallery section of this wedding website. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony. That being said, please feel free to take photos throughout the rest of the festivities and be sure to tag with #gerlockeddown if you post to social media!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Unpredictable! Welcome to Ohio! It could be freezing, raining, snowing, gloomy, or absolutely gorgeous. If you are traveling from outside the state (lookin' at you, Californians), please err to the side of overdressing and/or layers. That being said, all events and activities will be held indoors.

Will alcohol be served?

Yes. Beer, red wine, and white wine will be served in addition to non-alcoholic options.

Do both the ceremony and reception take place at the same location?

Answer

Yes! The festivities will occur in two separate structures, but they are adjacent to each other and separated by only a small garden space. That being said, please note that Jorgensen Farms is comprised of TWO completely different venues (it is a large property). If you are using location services, make sure you search for "Oak Grove at Jorgensen Farms" or use the specific address: 7500 Harlem Rd, Westerville, OH 43081.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for 30 minutes to an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall, where we will be serving appetizers and beverages during a cocktail hour.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Since we are getting married a little later in life than average (just being honest!), we are lucky enough to already have most of the household items we need. Please know that your love and company on our wedding day is all we could ask for! For friends and family who have expressed an interest, we have set up a honeymoon fund and created a small gift registry at Amazon for convenience.
