We originally met in high school- Lauren's freshman year and Jake's sophomore year. They had a year long French class together, but apparently neither were memorable to each other! Flash forward 12 years and dating apps are a thing. Hinge is the magical dating app where we hit it off- for good this time! We figured out we had a class together in high school on date 3 and the rest is history! We survived a 6 month deployment (Jake did NOT burn down the house while Lauren was gone thankfully) and when she returned, he finally proposed on our second vacation, a cruise to the Caribbean!
