Rehearsal & Rehearsal Dinner (Wedding Party Only)

5:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Semi-formal attire

We'll practice saying our "I Do's" at 5 pm on the front lawn, and then at 6:30 pm, enjoy cocktails on the patio followed by a delicious rehearsal dinner outside in the garden. Due to walking on grass, bridesmaids are encouraged to wear flat sandals or low wedge heels, as well as bringing a wrap. Groomsmen are encouraged to wear coat and tie.

Wedding & Reception

4:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Semi-formal attire.

All wedding activities take place outside at The Ashley Inn so we recommend you wear sunscreen with your semi-formal attire, and that ladies wear flat sandals or a lower wedge heel and bring a wrap. You’ll park on the grass, the 4:30 pm ceremony is on the front lawn, cocktail hour is on the patio, dinner is under a covered outdoor pavilion, and dancing is in the barn. In case of rain, the ceremony will be moved to the barn. The Ashley Inn is part of Meadow Lake Equestrian Center, a working horse farm. After the ceremony, you are welcome to explore the beautiful grounds, and we’ll have carrots available for feeding the horses. Please allow 40 minutes to drive from south Lexington to The Ashley Inn.
