We're getting married!!

Jacob and Lauren first crossed paths freshman year at Mississippi State University. The first time they hung out was on one of their friend’s birthday, when Sara Faye and Bayleigh (both bridesmaids!) decided to visit Jacob and his friends in his dorm. Lauren didn’t know the rest of the group and kept asking if they were sure it was okay for her to tag along. Bayleigh reassured her with, “It’s fine - I’m the birthday girl!!” From there, the group hung out nearly every hour of every day. While Jacob and Lauren would spend time together with the rest of the group, they would eventually spend hours upon hours talking and getting to know each other separately. Along the way, Lauren and Jacob met each others’ families, attended many weddings, added three darling dogs to their little family, and decided to take the next step together. In January 2025, Jacob planned a proposal complete with blankets and candles. Just as he led Lauren outside, the sky opened up and it started pouring down rain. He dragged her out into the rain and asked her to marry him - and she said yes! Today, they’re still as fun-loving and goofy as ever, best friends through and through. They love bonding over board games, hanging out with Maddux, Oliver, and Sammy, and finding fun things to do along the way! They wouldn’t be here without Jesus and the relationships they built in college — especially the big group of friends who first brought them together. We’re so grateful for the people who’ve been part of our story, and we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with all of you.
