We're Getting Married!

It was a tale as old as time. Girl gets bored, downloads an app, sees a cute boy & swipes right. "It's a match!" Except this certain boy made me wait a month before talking to me. It was all worth the wait & after a couple of conversations we met up at the 5 star restaurant "Chipotle" and by the end of the night we knew we wanted to see each other again. He won me over with his southern charm & I had him hooked with my version of "Redneck Woman" karaoke & the rest is history.

We were in San Diego for a music festival & decided to go grab food with some friends the night before it started. Jacob was so nervous I thought he was mad at me, but little did I know it was because he was about to ask me to be his wife. He said he wanted to stop by the beach to take a Christmas card picture, so we went to this cliff with an amazing view overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Two of our friends volunteered to take the pictures and one of them was actually recording our proposal. He got down on one knee & asked me to marry him. I was so nervous I said "thank you" before quickly saying "Yes." People started cheering for us & it was truly a magical moment. Afterwards we celebrated with tacos & champagne with our friends.
