Things To Do

If you're turning your trip into a little getaway (and we hope you are!), we've got you covered with some recommendations. Durango is a small mountain town known for its outdoor beauty. Think mountains, rivers, hiking, biking, and more. We can’t wait for you to experience the magic of this place we love!

Mountain Biking

There is a plethora of incredible biking trails in Durango. Some we frequent are: Horse Gulch, Dry Fork, Test Tracks and Twin Buttes.

Hiking

We mostly bike when in Durango but there are ample hiking opportunities as well. We recommend checking out the All Trails app.

Cliff Jumping

Adrenaline Falls, Durango, CO

Durango Railroad

Durango, CO

Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. Take a day trip to and from Durango and Silverton.

Historical Main Street

Durango, CO

Main Street has tons of fun thrift stores, book stores, eclectic shops and art galleries as well as yummy restaurants. We eat at Carvers almost every time we're in town. Some other favorites are 11th Street Station (food trucks) and Himalayan Kitchen.

Serious Texas Bar-B-Q

Durango, CO

BBQ so good it deserves its own section! We eat here every time we visit.

Animas River

Durango, CO

This famous river runs through town. You can take a walk along the river trail, go fly fishing, or swimming. Note: There is a possibility we will go river rafting as apart of our pre-wedding celebrations!

Mesa Verde National Park

Mesa Verde National Park, CO 81330

We haven't made it here ourselves but the Mesa Verde cliffs are famous for their historic cliff dwellings.

Farmers Market

Saturdays May - Oct

For all the days along the way
