What is the schedule for the evening?

This is the schedule we are hoping to follow, but we are sure there will be delays here and there :) 3:30-3:55 Guest Arrival 4:00-4:30 Wedding Ceremony 4:30-5:30 Cocktail Hour 5:30-6:00 Introduction and Speeches 6:00-7:00 Dinner 7:00-7:15 Dessert 7:15-7:25 First Dances 7:30 Dance Floor Opens 10:15 Last Song of the night 10:30 Hop on the party bus if you're coming to the after party!!

What should I wear?

Answer

WHATEVER you are comfortable in. Keep in mind the time of year, it will be HOT here in Michigan (Forecast says 90 degrees at the time of the ceremony). The sun won't set until almost 9:15pm which is great, but sunscreen might not be a bad idea as we will be spending the entire evening outside! Also keep in mind that we will be spending most of our time in grassy areas so we suggest leaving the stilettos at home. The venue plans to lightly spray for mosquitos, but we will have various bug repellent options available for guests.

What time should I arrive at the venue the day of the wedding?

Answer

We ask that everyone begin arriving around 3:30 as we plan to start the ceremony at 4:00. This will allow everyone to park and walk from your car to where we are holding the ceremony. Please be timely so you can leisurely find your way to your seat!

Can we park at the wedding venue?

Answer

YES! Parking will be available at the venue. Once parked you will follow signs around to the backyard and garden area where everything will take place. Because this is a private residence please car pool with fellow guests if possible. The font lawn is huge and there will be plenty of room to park, that request is just us trying to minimize the number of cars parked on their lawn :)

Can I leave my car at the venue overnight?

Yes! Overnight parking will be located on the front side of the property. Someone will be present to direct you where to park!

What's for dinner?

Answer

We will have a buffet dinner from Woodpile BBQ. There will be plenty of gluten free and dairy free options as well as food for our vegetarian peeps.
