FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request that you RSVP via our website by January 4, 2025.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding and reception is Cocktail Attire. For men, a suit (tie optional) is suggested. For ladies, a cocktail dress, dressy jumpsuit, or dressy separates would be perfect!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones and young adults, our ceremony and reception will be adults-only (21+) events. We appreciate your understanding and hope this is not an inconvenience, but rather a fun date night!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally listed on your invitation. When submitting your RSVP via our website, you will be able to view the names of those invited in your party!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

The dinner served at our reception will be a plated meal with three different entree options, including Char-Grilled Filet Mignon, Chile-Seared Salmon, and Roasted Chicken La Fonda (please note that there is a small amount of bacon in the Roasted Chicken La Fonda dish). If you have any food allergies or restrictions, please be sure to let us know!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Valet parking at La Fonda on the Plaza, the location of our ceremony and reception, is $30/day with in and out privileges. In our experience, there have also been plenty of Ubers available in Santa Fe if you would prefer to be dropped off (though we recommend booking in advance to secure a ride this way).

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes!

Question

What is the weather in Santa Fe like this time of year?

Answer

Although it can definitely vary, in February, you can often expect average daily high temperatures in the high 40s and low 50s and daily low temperatures in the 20s, as well as occasional snow in town! We suggest checking the weather forecast before packing if possible.

Question

Where do I purchase lift tickets for skiing?

Answer

If you would like to join us on the slopes on Monday, 2/10, or Tuesday, 2/11, please go to the Ski Santa Fe website (linked on our "Things To Do" page) to purchase lift tickets!

Question

Any tips on traveling to Santa Fe?

Answer

We strongly recommend staying hydrated and drinking as much water as possible prior to your arrival and during your time there as Santa Fe is about 7,000 feet above sea level (a fairly sharp increase in altitude for those of us traveling from Texas).

Question

Who should I contact with any further questions?

Answer

For any other questions/concerns or to let us know about any dietary restrictions you may have, please don't hesitate to reach out to the Mother of the Bride, Beth McGee, via email at bmcgee8391@sbcglobal.net! For any day-of questions, please feel free to reach out to the Maid of Honor, Sarah Wolf, at 512-705-7555.
