Pack your bags—it’s mountain getaway time! We’re so excited for you to join us for a weekend full of love, celebration, and amazing views. Our venue (Sky Retreat) is in Purlear, NC. If you’re flying in, the closest airport is Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), about 1.5–2 hours drive. We recommend renting a car that can handle some mountain terrain as the venue is on top of a mountain with a gravel road leading up. We don't have a hotel block but below are a list of hotels provided by our venue. For those who prefer something more cozy or scenic, there are tons of nearby cabins and vacation rentals available (see link below for example). Nearby towns to stay/look into: Wilkesboro, Jefferson, West Jefferson, Fleetwood, Boone. The 14 Sky Retreat Cabins are blocked the night of 10/23/26 for this wedding group to rent. *PLEASE NOTE: This is our wedding venue...These cabins are not available all weekend, only the night of our wedding, Friday 10/23/26. This is because they have a wedding the night before our wedding, Thursday 10/22, and the night after our wedding, Saturday 10/24. They are all blocked off for our wedding night for our guests, so if you were interested in staying on site for just Friday night (good option to prevent drinking and driving) click "View" below for link to book!
