Get Those Dancing Shoes Ready!

We met in high school, through our church youth group at St. Scholastica. We were both active members and built a lasting friendship starting in 2000. Seems crazy that was over 2 decades ago.

After a lot of persistence from Fred, and Lauren being completely oblivious to his motives, they got a drink together at Alter Brewing in the fall of 2018. In the spring of 2019, Lauren took a job in Florida and Fred says at that point he knew if she ever moved back he would have to marry her. After a lot of praying on his part and a job switch for her due to covid (perhaps we should blame him for this whole pandemic?), Lauren moved back in July of 2020. Fred proposed in May 2021 in Michigan with Lauren's favorites: Wine and a Sunset.
