This hotel has rooms that offer air conditioning, a pool, and complimentary breakfast! The Garden View King block will be $229/night, the Garden View Double (sleeps 4) will be $239/night, and the Garden View King Jr. Suite (sleeps 4) will be $249 + tax. There WILL be shuttles to/from the venue at Gardener Ranch even though it is only .3 miles away.

To make reservations, call the hotel directly at 831-659-2233 and reference the Vertrees/Wilson group block. This is a rustic hotel, and while there is no air conditioning (less of an issue in the winter!), there is a restaurant with a saloon on property, a salt water pool, and complimentary breakfast! Block pricing starts at $154/night. There is 2-night minimum and you must book 60 days in advance of the wedding to be considered for the room block. There WILL be shuttles to/from this hotel, which is just 1 mile west of Gardener Ranch.

Blue Sky Lodge

This rustic hotel built in the 1930's is right in Carmel Valley's downtown and approximately 1 mile from the wedding venue, Gardener Ranch. There will NOT be shuttles from this hotel. You can receive 10% off a two night stay (Friday - Sunday). The expected rate will be $199/night. Airport Options: 1) Monterey Airport – Smaller airport, but Alaska, America, & United fly in/out. About 30 minute drive to/from Carmel Valley. 2) San Jose Airport – about an hour driving. Easy and convenient to get in & out. 3) Oakland/SFO – both will require ~2 hours driving.

Rental Car

Ground Transportation

Renting a car at the airport to drive into Carmel is a great option. There is so much to see and do in the area and the wedding venue has plenty of free parking. We recommend booking a car through Turo! Alternatively, for transportation/shuttles/private transportation, Main Event Transportation is a great option.
