We're getting married!

Enes and I had planned a weekend getaway to Asheville, but not long into the drive, he suddenly said he’d forgotten something at home. I asked what it was, but he didn’t answer. When I suggested we just replace it in Asheville, he replied, “That’s not possible.” My curiosity was piqued—especially when we got back to the house and he returned to the car with seemingly nothing in hand and no explanation. As we started driving again, a nervous thought crept in: what if this is it? Worried I didn’t have the perfect outfit just in case, I texted my brother in a panic, begging him to bring my favorite gown all the way from Charlotte. (Thank you, Gage—you’re a real one!) Sure enough, Enes had orchestrated the most magical day. He first brought me to the beautiful Biltmore Tulip Gardens, and afterward, said we were going for a drive before dinner. That drive led us to a breathtaking overlook of the Blue Ridge Mountains, where a dreamy picnic was waiting—complete with emerald green linens and cups (my favorite color), charcuterie boards, and even Polaroid cameras to capture it all. Then, surrounded by the mountains and everything he so thoughtfully planned, Enes got down on one knee, spoke the most sincere, loving words I’ve ever heard, and asked me to be his wife. It was the most perfect, unforgettable day—and I couldn’t be more grateful or in love.
