Is there a dress code?

Yes! Black tie for the ceremony and reception.

Can I take my own photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, so no phones, iPads, digital cameras, Polaroids, etc. Thanks for understanding!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. Thank you for understanding.

Is there parking for the reception?

Answer

We will ask all who are planning to drive to valet their cars at the front of the Science Museum!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We’re willing to book a couple fully vetted babysitters to make that a reality. Be in touch for info!

Yes - please be sure to note any allergies when you RSVP!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes - we have planned room blocks at the Richmond Downtown Marriott and the Hilton Richmond Downtown. Please take care to book via our Travel page or by phone before December 30!
