We met almost 15 years ago in college—when I was a junior trying to figure life out and he was a “real” adult already juggling a full-time job and taking care of a family. We had a few classes together, but all I really remember is the teachers praising him nonstop like he was the poster child for success. I couldn’t stand it. And the funniest part? He barely knew I existed. Fast forward through years of completely separate lives, a few heart and fire emojis here and there that didn’t mean much at the time… until one bold DM slide changed everything. What started as a simple message turned into one weekend visit to Baltimore, where old assumptions got replaced with late-night conversations, easy laughter, and the kind of connection that doesn’t feel new even when it technically is. Somewhere along the way, a Yoshi tattoo made things official in a way only we can explain. Now we’re here—fifteen years later, a little older, a lot luckier, and very excited—to invite you to celebrate the love we somehow found right on time.
