We Are Getting Married!

Lauren and Dominic met the summer of 2011 at Bonita HS. They took a summer elective class together not knowing this would be an important part of their love story. Over that summer they became friends and went out to lunch together and made a few memories together and stayed friends. When they finished high-school, Dominic moved to Seattle and Lauren moved to New York for College. In 2019 they both moved back to California. In June 2019 they started to talk again over social media. They ended up going on their first date on June 12 at the Bowlero bowling ally in West Covina where they shared their first kiss and Dominic learned that Lauren is a good Bowler. Lauren and Dominic love to travel together; They have been to Prague, Seattle, Vegas, Lake Tahoe, Colorado, and Hawaii together. Dominic took Lauren on her first fishing trip and snowboarding trip. They love to go to the beach and the lake. Every fourth of July is very memorable for them because thats when their love story truly began. They have been to many concerts and festivals together. The holidays are the most special to them because they get to spend close time with their loved ones together. Thanksgiving and Christmas eve (7-fishes cuisine) are both of their favorite holidays. Dominic and Lauren got engaged in the Czech Republic, Prague on July 3rd, 2025. They got to visit Dominic's family and watch loved ones also get married. Going to Prague will be one of their favorite trips they will remember and cherish together forever. They also really love their Seattle trips together because they get to see the space needle, pikes place and most importantly visit Dominics grandma Patricia. Lauren and Dominic both had their graduations in 2023. Dominic graduated with a Bachelors and Lauren a Masters. In August 2023 they moved out on their own in a little apt in La Verne, where they continued to learn how to build a healthy relationship together. They love game nights, movie nights, cooking together, date nights, puzzle/wine nights, and their relax and chill nights with their dog Meechko. Both striving for success and for a beautiful life together, working hard and showing up for one another. In July 2025, they took a trip to the Czech Republic to visit Dominics family. Little did Lauren know, this would be the place where a fairytale really did come true. Dominic asked Lauren to marry her by the Charles Bridge in Prague and Lauren said YES! They spent their trip visiting beautiful castles and monuments. A trip they will never forget. Lauren and Dominic have made many memories together, share the same values, support and truly love one another. They love and respect each other and each others families and all the family pets. Meechko, Buddy, Luna, Scarlet, Bob, Layla and the pets that crossed the rainbow bridge Tucker, Malinka, and Chuckie.

Lauren is a California raised, 29 year old Italian and Mexican American woman who grew up in La Verne, CA. Lauren is the daughter of Dannielle and Charlie Calderaro. She grew up very active playing a lot of sports like soccer and softball. She currently lives in San Dimas, CA with Dominic and Meechko, their Siberian Husky. Lauren loves to be around family, friends, and her pets. She likes to go on sunset walks, and loves watching romantic-comedy movies. She loves strawberry ice cream and dark chocolate. Her favorite meals are Josephines Italian food, Dannielle's Mexican food and salsa, and homemade Czech meals from Lillys kitchen. Lauren grew up in La Verne and went to Bonita HS, where she played soccer, softball, and field hockey. Lauren made varsity soccer her freshman year and received a soccer and academic scholarship her junior year to play soccer at a school called Mercy College in Dobb's Ferry, New York. Lauren played Division II soccer and her junior year of college her team made it to the NCAA Division II final four in Kansas City. Lauren received her Bachelors in Healthcare Sciences from Mercy College in 2019 and shortly afterward started working in the Emergency room as a Medical Scribe at San Antonio Hospital. Although her dream was to become a Physician Assistant like her Aunt Amber, she realized she had other passions of making a difference in the healthcare system. During covid she got her Medical Coding License and began finding her passion to work for the Veterans Affairs with QTC Management. While working for the VA, she decided to pursue her Masters degree in 2022 in Health Administration and Public Health. Lauren loves her job helping veterans get the care and benefits they need and deserve. Lauren has always wanted to help those in need and advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves. She continues to try and make an impact in her company every day by ensuring our veterans and their families get the benefits they deserve. Today, Lauren loves to visit her family as much as she can. Spending time with her Grandma Josephine and her Noni is one of her favorite things to do on her free time. She loves learning her grandparents recipes and listening to all of their past stories. She also loves going to Lilly and Ricks house for home-cooked Czech meals, which is always followed by a delicious dessert. Lauren loves going on trips with her dad, Charlie and hanging out with his dog Layla. Lauren always looks forward to spending time with her mom Dannielle. Spending time by the pool with the dogs buddy and bob. Most of all Lauren loves spending time with her best-friend, her confidante, and love of her life, Dominic. Lauren loves date nights, wine nights, movie nights, late night walks and car rides with Meech and Dominic.

Dominic (also goes by Dom) is a 31 year old Peruvian, Czech, American man who grew up in Southern California. Lilly and Rick Medina are the parents of Dominic. Dominic has 1 sister named Ericka. Dominic has always had strong family values and loves spending time with his family. Dominic comes from a very cultured background with his mother Lilly, being born in the Czech Republic, and his father Rick, having both his parents born in Peru. Dominic has traveled to Eastern Europe numerous times and has always enjoyed being around his family, eating delicious Czech food, drinking Pilsner Urquell, and being around all the history Czech has to offer. Dominic has not visited Peru yet, but has plans to visit with his father Rick to enjoy where his family comes from. Dominic has grown to love the outdoors, whether it be fishing, being by the beach, working on his muscle cars, watching UFC & Raider games, and caring for his animals. Dominic went to Bonita High school where he met Lauren in 2011. Then after graduation, he moved to Seattle, Washington for some time. Later in 2019, he moved back down and graduated from Mt. Sac Antonio College and then continued his education at Cal Poly Pomona with a major in Computer Information Systems (CIS). After graduating from Cal Poly, Dominic had gained some very usable experience & knowledge, and has taken his talents to work for the very well known corporation, Panda Express in their IT department. During all the big achievements & milestones, Lauren has been by his side during his long college studying nights, graduations, and promotions. Dominic & Lauren have lived together previously in La Verne for a few years and now live in San Dimas. Their household is a party of 3. Dominic, Lauren, and Meech (their beloved husky that is basically their son). Dominic always loves a date night with Lauren driving his American muscle cars whether it be their favorite sushi spot or even Dominic’s favorite Mexican food spot, La Tolteca, and then finishing it with a nice movie if he can last that long without falling asleep. Dominic has lots of love for Lauren, his family, friends, and his community. Always willing to help others in need.
