We have booked 15 rooms for out of towners at the Ace Hotel Brooklyn (252 Schermerhorn St, Brooklyn, NY 11217) for the wedding. It is across the street from the Schermerhorn A/C/G subway station. The hotel doesn't have parking of its own so its offered options close by. Below is the most well rated option 1 block away from the hotel - SP+ Parking - 333 Schermerhorn St, Brooklyn, NY 11217 $25-30 Sedan - $35-45 SUV 24 hours - No in and out
The hotel is Downtown Brooklyn which we don't recommend spending time in- instead immediately south of the hotel is Boerum Hill and southwest is Carroll Gardens. Also close by is Fort Greene. These areas have plenty of options of coffee, food, and shops to pop into (particularly Carroll Gardens).
The venue is a 15 minute drive from the hotel in which Ubers/Lyfts are easily accessible. For the subway, the G or the F can be taken to Carroll Street stop and then a 7 minute walk to the venue (please be advised subways can be running on different schedules and lines on the weekends). Please leave the hotel by 4:45pm to arrive in time at the venue. The venue does not allow guests to enter before 5pm.
The wedding dinner will be family style at an Italian restaurant- the dinner will include salad, pasta, ribeye and fish (please ask for chicken in advance if the ribeye and fish aren't OK for you). Separate dinner options will be available to those who are vegan, gluten-free etc. In RSVPing for the dinner please provide your needs in the RSVP section.
