We're getting married!

We met as young adults and grew into adulthood side by side, experiencing many of life’s firsts together. As we navigated those early years, we learned how to support each other through change, celebrate the wins, and lean on one another when things felt uncertain. Those experiences shaped who we are as a couple and built the foundation of trust, friendship, and love that continues to grow today. We’ve always enjoyed the simple parts of life together—taking Sansa and Maverick for a walk, talking about our day, or relaxing at home. The everyday moments have always felt the most meaningful. We balance each other well. Devon brings patience and kindness to our relationship, while Lauren brings ambition and determination. Together, we share a sense of humor that keeps life fun and reminds us not to take ourselves too seriously. At the heart of it all, we've found something special in having a built-in best friend—someone to do life with, laugh with, and enjoy all the little moments in between. That friendship was on full display during our engagement. While hiking to a waterfall, Devon got a little too excited and mistook a smaller waterfall for the one he had planned. The proposal happened a bit earlier than expected, but honestly, it couldn't have been more us. We spent the rest of the hike laughing together. To this day, neither of us remembers exactly what was said—Devon was nervous, Lauren was excited, and all that mattered was knowing we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. As we begin this next chapter, we're looking forward to more walks with the dogs, more conversations at the end of the day, more laughter, and all the adventures still to come. We're so grateful to celebrate this special day with the people we love most.
