We connected on Bumble (the dating app) in January 2019 with mutual "right swipes". "Looks like we're a match, I'd be interested in getting to know more about you." The unique thing about Bumble is that the woman has to message first to get the conversation started and from there it's all about chemistry. We spent some time messaging back and forth and eventually decided to exchange numbers... DeOtis called IMMEDIATELY and the next 9 hours laid the foundation for the first date that never ended.

Lauren: DeOtis sent me on our monthly grocery shopping trip alone. He said he just needed some time for himself and I accepted that. I can't say it was an "attitude-free" acceptance, but I understood. So I left with a slight attitude, the shopping list, and reusable shopping bags in hand... DeOtis: After she FINALLY left, I was able to sneak my errands in: I needed to pick up a few random items all before she got back: pink index cards, string, pens, scissors, and a PINK dog collar.

We both have a love for travel, adventure, and nature's beauty, so we've chosen the island of St. Lucia as the location for our special day. St Lucia is rich with beautiful beaches, lush rainforests, history, and plenty of activities for the leisure traveler. We've chosen a beach ceremony with a hint of simple elegance, letting nature be our backdrop. After the ceremony, we'll enjoy a cocktail hour just before heading to the dinner reception in the resort's beautiful ballroom. Once everyone is fed we fully expect to dance the night away! We are looking forward to being together with our families in such a beautiful place for this special occasion!
