Question

Where should I fly into?

Answer

There are a few airport options near Camogli, but we recommend flying into either Milan (MXP) or Genoa (GOA). From Milan, the easiest route is to take a train to Genoa (about 2 hours) and then a quick 30-minute taxi ride to Camogli. If you prefer, you can also rent a car and drive directly from either Milan or Genoa. For train schedules and tickets, check out the “Omio” link on our Travel page!

Question

What is Camogli like?

Answer

Camogli is a charming village on the Italian Riviera, known for its colorful buildings, picturesque harbor, and pebble beach. With a population of just around 5,000, it offers a quieter, more laid-back atmosphere than its bustling neighbors, Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure. We can’t wait to share this beautiful corner of Italy with you!

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

There’s no need to rent a car if you’re staying in or around Camogli. The European train system is efficient, affordable, and perfect for day trips or exploring nearby towns. Taxis are also available, though they can be a bit pricier. If you’re planning to explore more of Italy or travel beyond, renting a car could be a great option. For those driving to the wedding, there will be 10 parking spots available at the venue—just let Lauren or Dalt know if you’d like to reserve one!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Camogli offers plenty of great hotel and Airbnb options, and we recommend staying right in town if possible. While there are additional choices within a 30-minute radius, being in the heart of Camogli will keep you closest to the venue and all the action. The town is very walkable, so staying nearby makes it easy to enjoy everything on foot!

Question

What are we cheers-ing to all week?

Answer

The bridal party will be arriving in Camogli around May 26. In the days leading up to the wedding, we’re planning a few optional welcome activities, such as a coastal boat tour and casual gatherings for drinks and appetizers by the water. Our Rehearsal Dinner will take place on May 28, followed by the wedding celebration on May 29. The next morning, we’d love for you to join us for a farewell mimosa toast before everyone sets off on their own adventures. Beyond these events, we encourage you to make the most of your time in Italy and explore the stunning scenery at your own pace. We are so excited to share this special adventure with you all!
