Lauren and Craig’s story began with a serendipitous encounter in the lobby of their apartment building. Lauren, doing a final walk-through a week before moving in, found herself waiting for the elevator, unaware that fate was waiting right behind her. She turned to find a very handsome guy and asked, “Do you live here?” With a smile, Craig said yes, and offered to show her around the building. Their impromptu tour ended with drinks later that week at the Beekman Hotel next door, their very first date. What started as a casual chat turned into something extraordinary. From summer getaways at the Jersey Shore and cheering on Penn State football games to countless oysters and aperol spritz consumed around their home in New York City , their bond quickly deepened. A few unforgettable months later, Craig brought the story full circle by proposing at the Beekman Hotel, surrounded by family and friends who were ready to celebrate the next chapter.
