Our story started long before we ever started dating. We met when we were 7 years old as our families were close friends, and we grew up in the same church and small town. For years we were just “family friends”, until we were 16 and our families took a trip to Southern California together to drop off our older siblings at college. During that trip, we really got to know each other and quickly realized there might be something special between us. A homecoming ask became the first of many yes's! We started dating in November 2021 and spent high school growing up side by side through long FaceTime calls, dances, football games, and cheering each other on at our rival high schools. After graduation she moved to California Baptist University and a year later he joined her there. College brought some of our favorite memories together and on August 8th, 2025 we got engaged exactly one year before our wedding day!
