What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal attire is requested for the wedding day. For the welcome party, we recommend cocktail or more casual attire.

How do I get to Vail?

Answer

The closest airport is Denver International Airport (DEN), about a 2-hour drive from Vail. Rental cars, shuttles, and private transportation are all available. Please refer to the travel page for more details.

Do I need to stay at the Sonnenalp or Highline?

Answer

You are welcome to stay wherever you’d like! We recommend staying in Vail Village for convenience, as it is within walking distance of the wedding events. There are also many great hotel and Airbnb options nearby, as well as additional accommodations in Avon and Beaver Creek.

Is there a hotel block or discount code?

Answer

While Sonnenalp Hotel does not offer room blocks or discount codes, we do have a room block reserved at Highline Vail Hotel. Please mention the Speicher/Blum wedding when booking to receive the discounted rate.

Are Children Invited?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate your children if they are specifically listed on your RSVP. While we love all of the children in your lives, this is an adults only celebration. Please reach out to us directly if you have questions.

How do I get to all the wedding festivites?

Answer

If you are staying in Vail Village or Lionshead Village, all events will be within walking distance. For guests staying at Highline Vail Hotel, a shuttle is available with service running until 10 PM. If you plan to drive, there is a nearby parking garage within walking distance.
