We met on a dating app in the beginning of July in 2020! After a few weeks of talking we decided to meet up at Blue Moose for drinks. Connor sent Lauren a picture so she would know what he looked like and what he was wearing that day (Lauren loves to make fun of him for doing this!). Connor arrived first, as he sat there patiently waiting for Lauren to arrive he got the text "walking in! Before he knew it this absolutely gorgeous woman was walking towards his booth. A calm attitude was quickly replaced with sweaty palms and pure excitement. Lauren sat down and the couple enjoyed some nice conversation while getting to know each other. After a few drinks it was time to go. However Connor wasn't ready to say goodnight so in an effort to extend the night he suggested they take a walk around the shopping center. Lauren agreed and the couple enjoyed a few more minutes of conversation before it was finally time to say goodnight. Lauren went home and told her Roommate that he was marriage material. Connor went home and told everyone he went on a date with an absolute smoke show!

Connor knew from the first moment he saw Lauren that this was something amazing. When he finally couldn't wait any longer he bought a ring and came up with the proposal. On the way to his family's Thanksgiving he had his mom call and say that everyone was running late and they were moving Thanksgiving back. He then asked Lauren if they wanted to take the scenic route, but she said nah lets just go to thanksgiving anyway! Connor then started saying since they looked good they needed to take a picture and started grasping at straws for his plan to work. As Connor pulled off the highway love songs were playing in the truck and they were talking about various long-term things. Lauren started to get an idea, but wasn't quite sure. The couple got to a lake area and Connor started to pray out loud with Lauren which turned into a proposal and then she knew and Lauren said yes! The engaged couple spent the whole rest of the day celebrating with both of their families!
