Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Lauren Greif and Colton Tallant
Arizona has so many fun things to do and see, and March is a wonderful time to visit! It's typically warm and dry, and the desert wildflowers should be starting to bloom. There are endless places to hike, shop, and sightsee. There is truly something for everyone!
Grand Canyon National Park

Grand Canyon National Park

AZ
(928) 638-7888

A classic Arizona experience! Grand Canyon National Park's South Rim is about 3.5 hours North of Phoenix. As long as you're not planning on any major hikes, it's definitely doable for a day trip!

Have a day/night on the town in Old Town Scottsdale

Have a day/night on the town in Old Town Scottsdale

Scottsdale, AZ 85251

Old Town Scottsdale has tons of options for shopping and dining, and is a super fun place to go out at night! It's a very popular location for tourists (especially bachelorette parties) for a good reason. Our favorite place to eat in Old Town is Hula's Modern Tiki. They have tons of delicious options for food as well as lots of fun cocktails.

Baseball Spring Training

Baseball Spring Training

10710 West Camelback Road, Phoenix, AZ 85037
, (623) 302-5000

If you're a sports fan, check out the Cactus League Spring Training 2022 schedule! Lots of teams from around the country spend the spring in Arizona. It's a great time to see your favorite baseball team with small crowds and comfortable weather.

Visit the Desert Botanical Garden

Visit the Desert Botanical Garden

1201 North Galvin Parkway, Phoenix, AZ 85008
, (480) 941-1225

Experience a wide variety of the Sonoran Desert plant life with a trip to the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix! Admission is under $30 per person.

Hike Camelback Mountain

Hike Camelback Mountain

Phoenix, AZ 85018

There are two main trails - Echo Trail and Cholla Trail - that summit Camelback. These hikes are rated as extremely difficult, so this is not a hike for the inexperienced. Camelback is often busy but offers panoramic views of the valley.

Golf at JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge

Golf at JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge

5350 East Marriott Drive, Phoenix, AZ 85054
, (480) 293-5000

There are over 200 golf courses in Phoenix, the biggest of which is at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa. If golf is your thing, play a game here!

Stargaze at Four Peaks Wilderness Area

4 Peaks Road, Fort McDowell, AZ 85264
, (602) 225-5200

Four Peaks WIlderness is a really great remote area to take in the Milky Way at night. Arizona's lack of humidity means there is very little light pollution - only about 30 minutes from the city, you can see tons of stars. There is also a long hike through the Four Peaks if you've got lots of time!

See the desert wildflowers at South Mountain

10919 South Central Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85042
, (602) 495-5458

Check out some of the beautiful desert wildflowers with a trip to South Mountain, or visit the linked website for recommendations of other places to see the wildflowers. We're also fans of the Wave Cave hiking trail in the Superstition Mountains.

For all the days along the way
