The One Marriage to Rule Them All

We met in 2013 when we were both working at a marketing agency in Branford, CT. We were seated in cubicles right next to each other, and as the account manager, Lauren often had to tell Cody what to do (not much has changed). Through daily coffee breaks and bonding over a shared music playlist, we quickly became best friends. We started hanging out outside of work after Cody moved to West Hartford with his friends, and after a lot of hand wringing over whether to risk our friendship, we started dating. Four years later, after a hike to the top of the Muir Woods, (where we had our first real trip together), Cody got down on one knee and proposed. Cody also proposed to Rylee with a necklace at their favorite place together in the reservoir when we got home. We are so excited to start this next phase of our lives and can’t wait to celebrate with everyone in August!
