Clayton and Lauren first met at a Christmas Party in December of 2016. The two exchanged a casual introduction then quickly parted ways never to think of each other again. A year later, Lauren decided to make a move from Baltimore to Western Maryland to start her new career at Northrop Grumman. In October of 2018, their paths would cross again when the two were assigned to work together on the same program. In December, they both attended the same work Christmas party where sparks began to fly. The next day, Clayton sent Lauren a DM on Facebook asking for her number and the two spent many months getting to know each other. They made their relationship official on May 31, 2019. The two spent their first year together in circumstances like no other facing the Covid pandemic. Shortly into isolation, the two found out they were expecting their sweet twins, Haven and Holston, who were born in October of 2020. Shortly following, baby Hayes made his way into the family in September of 2022. Clayton dropped to one knee and proposed to himself in October of 2023 during a family photo shoot. Once he turned the ring around, Lauren very classily responded with “are you f*ing kidding me!?” which of course meant “yes.”
