Alligator Hill Trail
A stunning hike with multiple trail length options. Make sure you visit the Alligator Hill Overlook and the Glen Lake Overlook (where we got engaged!) ❤️ This hike is extra special to us!
Empire Bluff Trailhead
Another one of our favorite hikes! A fairly easy 1.5 mile hike to one of the most stunning views of Lake Michigan! A great spot to watch the sunset!
Port Oneida Beach
Also known as Lane Road Beach. A more private beach on the shores of Lake Michigan. A great spot to hunt for Petoskey Stones (we’ve found many)! Note: The stairs to walk down to the beach are closed, however, there’s a short trail through the woods that will lead you down!
Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive Entrance
Make sure to stop at Overlook #9 (another great spot to catch a sunset!) and the North Bar Lake Overlook!
Old Mission Peninsula Wine Trail
Wineries we recommend you visit on Old Mission: Brys Estate (Lauren’s favorite!), Mari Vineyards, Bonobo, Hawthorne Vineyards (a beautiful view!) & Bowers Harbor.
Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail

Our favorite brewery in the area! Great food too! The outdoor area is really pretty and is set in the forest with multiple real fire pits throughout.

One of the oldest Fish Towns still operating! The Cove and Bluebird are two great restaurants in Leland!
