What is “garden formal” attire?

Answer

Wear anything from sundresses and suits to your Sunday church attire! This is a backyard wedding with wood chips, grass, and cement, so ditch the stilettos and wear your dancing shoes.

Where should we book a hotel?

Answer

We recommend staying at Courtyard by Marriott in Palmdale. Two other options are Residence Inn and Hampton by Hilton. Palmdale is the closet city to Acton with hotels, about a 15 minute drive to the venue. If you are looking to book a hotel for the weekend, keep in mind that it will be Memorial Day so things book up fast.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We are not planning to have transportation to and from the hotels and ceremony location. Our reception will not be alcohol heavy, however, if you feel you need a ride, Lyft and Uber are within range.

Backyard wedding…where do we park our car?

Answer

You may park in the surrounding neighborhood on any of the cross streets, like Aliso St, Acklins Ave., Liberty Way, and Dorama Ave.
