We're getting married!

On April 17th, 2021, we first matched on the most romantic app of all time...Tinder. After quickly developing feelings via text messages, calls, and FaceTimes we decided to meet up in person. On April 30th, 2021 we had our first date. We first met up at Grand Central Station. Lauren wanted to make a stop at Sephora and Dunkin as a start to the day, as she often does to this day. With a Sephora bag in hand and two lattes (later to be one because Christian does not, in fact, like coffee and threw his away), we made our way to Bryant Park. While sitting on those famous Bryant Park chairs, Lauren and Christian linked the voices from over the phone to people in real life. From there forward, we just felt familiar to one another...as though we'd been friends for forever. With Lauren being from The Bronx and Christian being from Far Rockaway, Queens, we were 2hrs and 30 minutes away from one another. A true long distance NYC relationship. But that didn't stop us from deciding to take the plunge together anyway. By May 8th, 2021, we made things official and have been inseparable since. Since then, we've seen each other through everything from graduating college, getting our first post-grad jobs, moving in together, traveling, and much more. On September 22nd, 2024, under the glow of the night sky, a soft breeze carried the scent of the ocean as we wandered past a lit-up fountain in the Dominican Republic. Right there, Christian got on one knee and proposed, to which Lauren joyfully said yes. Here we are now, ready to tie the knot and invite you to witness our union in marriage...the beginning of forever.
