It’s Finally Happening!!

As many of you already know, Lauren and Chris met in 2013 at Mckinleys. An East Greenwich dive bar that is a fan favorite for anyone that is a true Rhode Islander. Although they did not date immediatly, their paths crossed again and thats when their story really begins. Now look at them! A wonderful home, 2 awesome puppies and the most adorable Son you could ever lay eyes on.

On our first night of hanging out and getting to know one another we sat on a bench right infront of City Hall and talked FOREVER, then watched the Sun come up. Fast forward to August 9, 2019. Chris and I had a date night planned with our favorite couple Eric and Maria. And as we were walking down main street to get to Main Street Coffee , I hear Chris behind me asking “ HEY, Is this our bench??” And when I turned around, Chris was on one knee. I cant for the life of me remember exactly what he said but I know he started with, “ This is where it all started...”

Why did we choose Maine? Well... since the very beginning of our relationship, Maine has always been apart of us. Laurens parents have been working on their dream vacation home in Maine since 2013, so Chris has been apart of the adventure, all the way down to the foundation being poured. So when it came time to choose a place to say I DO, Maine felt like a no brainer. We chose Hardy Farm in Fryeburg. I cannot tell you how many summer nights we would be driving past that venue and we would slow down to see all the lights and campfire from the wedding that night. It just always seemed like that would be the place for us. I hope you all enjoy the venue as much as we do!
