We first met when Chris became a Steamfitter and started working with my brother. They became best friends and I was always with them. After 3 years of knowing Chris and admiring him from a far, I worked up the courage to tell him I had a crush on him. After asking for my brother’s permission, Chris officially asked me to be his girlfriend on August 28, 2021.

After a year of dating, my family invited Chris to our annual vacation to Hilton Head, SC. On the second day of vacation, I was told we were taking family photos on the beach. Everyone got ready and headed to the beach. I was leading the group to a good spot for photos when I realized no one was following me. I turned around to find Chris down on one knee. When he asked me to be his wife, it was the easiest “Yes” ever. We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
