Drive to Prince Albert
Via N12/R62 → R407 over Meiringspoort Pass : 2,5hours (Recommended Route) This route is slightly longer, but easier and tarred the whole way. Passes through the little towns of Oudtshoorn, and De Rust before heading through the stunning pass. Via R328 over Swartberg Pass : +- 2.5-3 hours This is a beautiful drive, and the most direct, but is a narrow winding gravel road for most. High-clearance car is highly recommended but not required... *NOT for those scared of heights!! This route can rather be done as a day activity from Prince Albert if wanted!
